Idaho Falls ID Retired chemist Single 2019-01-13 20:54:33
Wow! Where did the time go? I went to Ricks College and BYU. When I graduated, I didn't know what to do so I came home to Idaho Falls. I eventually found myself working shift work at the Site in the Analytical Lab. I did the work of a chemist but my title was Technican. The last 5 years I was trained to identify asbestos. I really loved this part of the job. I was laid off in 2009. I found a full time seasonal job at EICAP, working in energy assistancee 8 seasons. I then quit to help care for my elderly parents. I now live with my youngest handicapped brother in the family home. I have done a lot of traveling also. I have been on all 7 continents. I have truly been blessed in my life. Garden City ID Retired General Contractor and Vocational Ed. Instructor Married 2 2019-04-05 19:51:37
Maybe this third time will be the charm...  I’m looking forward to this 50th reunion from high school and getting reacquainted with many of you, some who I have known since junior high.  I wish I had been more actively engaged in high school as many of you were.   While some of our classmates went to Woodstock I attempted to join the Navy SEALs and then found myself in the Marine Corps.  Upon completion, with nothing better to do, I signed up for college and five years later I graduated and married the first young lady to sit next to me in my first class.   48 years later I’m still in enchanted with her.   I took the test and obtained a general contractors license and we managed to support our family for the next 20 years.  I continued teaching construction and received a masters in vocational education from University of Idaho.   For a person who hated school and couldn’t wait to get out I’ve spent a lot of time in schools, colleges and high schools being a schoolmarm to at-risk students who did not fit into regular classrooms.   I’ve been retired for eight years and students still call out  to me in stores and lumberyards. Life has been really interesting for me and I’ve worked at improving the lives of those around me. Send Edwin a MessageSend Edwin a Message
