Idaho Falls ID Semi-Retired Married 1 2019-02-14 00:57:48
Shortly after graduation, I married my High School sweetheart, Karen Arnold.  I started working with individuals with disabilities during my freshman year of college.  I eventually completed my BA and Master's Degree at Idaho State University.  I have now worked in the human service field for 48 years, but have been semi-retired for the past few years.  Karen and I call Idaho Falls home, but spend as much time as possible at our second home in St. George, Utah during the winter months. Idaho Falls ID Retired Health Physicist Single 2019-07-08 00:14:18
My career as a Health Physicist kept me busy and far from Idaho Falls for almost 40 years. I worked in New Mexico, Utah, Nevada and California. I retired in 2014 and returned to Idaho Falls. I love it here and if necessary I can stay in my house most of the winter!  I also travel extensively!  My mode of choice is Cruising. I have been to almost all of my bucket list places, and I am happily still working on it!  My extended family and great friends keep me busy and happy. I want my epitaph to read:  “She Had Fun!” Send Jan Lenae a MessageSend Jan Lenae a Message

Moses Lake WA retired Married 8 2019-04-07 15:06:23
We are grateful for the many blessings in our lives.  After High School, I graduated from BYU with a degree in Special Education/Elementary Education.  (Taught one year at the American Fork Training School--up until the day our first was born.)  It was a privilege to serve an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Richard and I have 8 precious children--a teacher, computer security guru, a financial planner, two doctors, two nurses, and a daughter on the other side (died in an accident at age 2).

We love to travel, do family history, have adventures with the 13 grandchildren,  garden, have a freeze dryer and are having a blast here in WA where we grow 95 crops in our county.  We belong to the gleaners and are able to get lots of excess food this way.  Last fall we pressed 125 gallons of fresh apple cider.  Guess what all the neighbors got for Christmas?

We are in the process of selling our home here in Moses Lake, WA--100 miles to the west of Spokane--and are purchasing a home in Cedar City, Utah to be nearer to our children and grandchildren.

We have recently served as Pathway Service Missionaries in our church, worked in the Columbia River Temple for 3 years, and received our mission call this week.  In September we enter the Mission Training Center in Provo, Utah and will serve for 18 months inl the Salt Lake City Headquarters Mission serving as Family  and Church History missionaries.  Family history has always been one of my great loves and I have helped others trace their roots and  volunteered in our local libraries for over 20 years.

Life does not always turn out how we think it will, but we learn from many opportunities and make the best of life.  We are sad that we will not be able to join you for the reunion.  THANKS to all the committee for their diligence in reaching out to all of us.  This morning it was a JOY to read through your profiles.  Idaho Falls will always be home. . . . . . .
